playing with light

July 30th, 2008 | kids

A few days ago the kids & I went to a birthday party for one of their cousins. As the sun began to set my big girls & the birthday boy took off to go fishing. Bria & I stayed behind to do our own thing & I’m so glad we did. This dress I purchased when she was a tiny baby. I loved it so much I had to have it & 3 years later it finally fits.
My fav from our little play session…
(BTW….those are rocks she’s feeding her baby, poor thing!)

Bria fix for her Grammas & Grampas

July 26th, 2008 | kids

Bria’s grampa emailed me asking for a Bria fix…so here ya go. A couple pictures taken today in the front yard. She has tiny freckles now, you can kind of see them in the first photo. I’m definately getting these as HUGE gallery wrap canvases for my wall!

More of this little dude…

July 26th, 2008 | 2

I just had to share more of this little guy because he’s so adorable I can’t hardly stand it! This was one of my recent sessions that took place in Bemidji. We were *almost* rained out, but in between the raindrops we managed to get a lot of really great photos and during the rain showers we drove around looking for more locations to photograph. We came across this rusty entry way to a brick builing in an alley & after this we cruised around town and  found this neighborhood they called “the garden district”. One couple owns most of this area that was built in the 1880’s. They are working on restoring the buildings and keeping the integrity of the original architecture. This area was a great find and could not have possibly made a better setting for a session.

I still have a few little tweeks to do on the new blog here & soon I’l have some cool new features too . My old blog is not gone for good. If you would like to go back to the old blog you can do so here.
